The new 30-million-dollar building in the Maroochydore CBD has just been approved by the council. This is a massive step forward in putting the Sunshine Coast on the map.
It is an eight-level energy efficient building that will have more than 5000 square metres of space. Many enquires over the space have been received within the first week of the building being approved. Office rents range from $380 to $400 per square metre net, with ground floor retail rents priced between $750 to $800 per square metre.
Sale prices are about $5450 per square metre.Businesses can buy or lease a full floor of the building or as little as 80 square metres of office space with retail zones also available for sale or lease.
However, as well as a plethora of sustainable features and a design that makes the most of the coast’s sub-tropical climate, the building also heralds the start of something much bigger for the entire region. The main focus that they have within the CBD is to have the whole place running on sustainable energy. This will be a big step in the way we look and use sustainable energy throughout the Sunshine Coast.
Maroochydore CBD will be absolutely stunning when it is finished off. This will be a bench mark for future CBD and will put the Sunshine Coast on the map.
