Qantas Regional Airlines have announced that fights will commence mid November 2014, providing a service from Toowoomba to Sydney with 11 return flights per week and additional destinations expected in due course. The airport is expected to contribute a massive boost to the Toowoomba local economy, promoting business, tourism, logistics, stimulating jobs, resulting with a positive economic impact on the local community. In support with various projects and further development, property house sales in Toowoomba shows support with growth during the June quarter 2014. Toowoomba reported a 5% property growth, particularly with acreage properties showing a 9% increase. Real Estate Institute of Queensland’s Market Monitor guide suggests that East Toowoomba, South Toowoomba and Wilsonton are high performers, recording double digit growth sales in the June Quarter.
